Paid Race Entry includes the following

  • Four days of racing (if you DNF/DNS a stage, you can still race the next stage).
  • Bivouac Pass for each competitor (showers and toilets provided).
  • Breakfast and dinner in the bivouac for each competitor, and dinner at the awards party.
  • Up to 5 gallons of gas for each moto or quad at the mid-stage gas stop(s) on Stage 2 and Stage 3.
  • Race Insurance.
  • Number plate stickers.

Crew Bivouac Pass

Each crew member will need a Bivouac Pass ($200us), which covers breakfast and dinner, showers, toilets, start/finish access, etc. in the bivouac. The Bivouac Pass also includes the post-race awards dinner and party at the host hotel. Nobody will have access to the bivouac area or awards dinner without a Bivouac Pass.

Non-Racing Enthusiast Bivouac Pass

This is for those who want to experience the bivouac and awards party activities without entering as a competitor or being a crew member on a racing team. Entry as a "Non-Racing Enthusiast" provides a single Bivouac Pass and the things that come with it, nothing more. A Non-Racing Enthusiast may also purchase additional Bivouac Passes at the standard price of $200. Those considering this option can save $50 by joining a racing team as a crew member and having that team purchase the bivouac pass along with the others for their crew. The Non-Racing Enthusiast Pass provides all the same things the Crew Bivouac Pass provides. When filling out the entry form, we know Non-Racing Enthusiast don't have a race vehicle or any of the mandatory instruments so just answer "X" or YES to those questions, whatever it takes to complete the form.

Location Information

Pre-race registration and a post-race dinner and awards party will be held at the host hotel (Hotel San Angel) in San Luis Rio Colorado, Mexico, just over the border from Yuma, Arizona. Hotel San Angel is less than a mile from the San Luis border crossing. The bivouac is less than half an hour drive from Hotel San Angel, and it will remain at that location for the full event. Competitors are welcome to stay at the bivouac, or Hotel San Angel, a combination of the two, or any other place you choose. Since Stage 1 starts at Hotel San Angel, and the post-race awards party will be held there, for convenience competitors may consider staying at Hotel San Angel the night before the race and the night of the awards party, and enjoy the bivouac during the race.

The all dirt remote bivouac is easily accessible by any vehicle, including large motorhomes and vehicles with large trailers.

Additional Information

Take note from the schedule below of the days when “Bivouac Pass” breakfast and/or dinner are served in the bivouac. For those looking for a served lunch on race days, an “on your own dime” meal opportunity will be available.

More detailed Car/Truck/UTV race rules are being defined now, and will be announced soon.
